Axtel produces Machine Vision based systems, also referred to as Automated Optical Inspection Systems (AOI), for the automation of Quality Assurance in industrial manufacturing processes. Some of our systems are custom built to suit the specific needs of a single customer. Other systems are off the shelf products, they may address the needs of an entire industry.

The A1_Inspector is our most popular off the shelf product; it is used when populating Printed Circuit Boards.The A1_Inspector is a bench-top system; it is most suitable for manufacturers with short production runs and frequent line changes.

This system provides AOI technology at a fraction of the typical cost. Users of the A1_Inspector may verify or raise their quality standard, improve their standing with their customers, and they may save money in the process. The A1_Inspector is known to amortize itself within a few months.

Machine Vision - TECHNICAL SUPPORT

After being in business for over twenty years Axtel knows how annoying and costly technical problems can become, that is why we do our best to avoid problems before they occur. We sell the most reliable and user friendly products on the market and our online resources provide technical and product specific information to make sure our customers get the most out of their investment.

We provide several layers of technical support:

1) Telephone support
With each product sold we guarantee a number of free tech sup hours.
After that time is used up we charge $65 per additional hour.

2) Depot repair (requires a maintenance agreement)
Customer sends in the defective unit, we repair it and send it back.
Customer pays for inbound freight, we pay for outbound.
We charge for spare parts, if the unit is out of warranty.
For repair work we charge $95 per hour.

3) Unit exchange (requires a maintenance agreement)
Same as above, but a replacement unit is shipped out instantly when a problem is reported.

4) On site repair (requires a maintenance agreement)
A trained technician will perform repair work on site.
We charge for travel expenses plus $125 per hour.
